  • What are the qualifications?

To qualify for consideration to The Nursing Advantage Program, you must be accepted for admissions to West Virginia Wesleyan College as a first-time, full-time freshman student for Fall of 2022. You must also choose Nursing as your major of choice through pre-registration and enrollment in the fall.  It is expected that recipients continue in the nursing major and graduate from West Virginia Wesleyan College.

  • How will students be selected?

Committed Students: Students who have already deposited for Fall of 2022 to West Virginia Wesleyan College will be immediately considered for the program if they complete pre-registration beginning on April 11th and choose nursing/pre-nursing as the major of choice.

Accepted Students: Students who have been accepted for admissions but who have yet to deposit should consider depositing before May 1, 2022 with the major choice of nursing/pre-nursing for consideration in the first cohort. We also suggest interested students consider pre-registration beginning on April 11th.

A first wave of offers will be sent to deposited students as of May 1 to be the first students into the program.

All Students: If you haven’t yet applied to West Virginia Wesleyan, there is plenty of time to apply and be considered for the program. Follow the application instructions above. We will consider new applicants on a rolling basis for the program beginning on May 1 and will do so until all spots are filled.
