Multicultural Student Recruit Team
The Multicultural Student Recruitment Team (MSRT) is made up of current Wesleyan students classified as American minorities. These students act as agents of the college in its effort to recruit outstanding minority students to WV Wesleyan. MSRT members are trained to give professional oral and PowerPoint presentations about the college. During their semester breaks members of the MSRT visit their former high schools other high schools in their area to make these presentations and talk with prospective students about the Wesleyan experience. MSRT members are also tele-counselors and Wesleyan Ambassadors. They are frequently asked to give campus tours to prospective students and their families and occasionally may serve as hosts to a prospective student who is interested in staying overnight in one of Wesleyan's residence halls.
MSRT members are solid students who are in good standing with the college and who are well respected and admired by their peers. They are students who are involved in campus life and many hold various leadership positions of campus. For more information about the MSRT contact the Office of Intercultural Relations.
