Computing Services has several positions available for Technology Assistants. Our technology assistants provide technology related support to all members of the campus community and perform general office tasks. Supported items include Microsoft Office applications, e-mail access, network connectivity, campus printing, password resets, software installation, Blackboard Learning Management system, etc. Many of our students have also performed mobile systems repair, network cabling, web development, and programming as their skill sets and training have developed. The Helpdesk Technology Assistant is an ideal work-study position for those who want a quality experience that will enhance his or her understanding of technology, customer service, and resume’. QUALIFICATIONS

Good communication skills, oral and written, are a must. You must also enjoy working with and helping people, and display a friendly and polite demeanor. Experience in customer service and/or technology related skills are a plus, but not required.
