Concentus Vocum to Perform Spring Concert
Concentus Vocum, West Virginia Wesleyan College’s select chamber vocal ensemble, will be presenting a concert on the Buckhannon campus on Sunday, March 15 at 3 p.m. in Wesley Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
The group, under the direction of Dr. R. Daniel Hughes, will be performing selections by Moses Hogan, Johannes Brahms, Ralph Vaugh Williams, Dan Forrest, and many more. This concert will be the last in a series, as they have spent their spring break traveling across West Virginia performing in churches and high schools.
The Music Department at Wesleyan offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music Education degrees. The department has distinguished itself by being accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. The Wesleyan Music Department is the only private college in West Virginia recognized as one of 610 accredited programs in the country. Wesleyan also offers an interdisciplinary Arts Administration major which offers a drama, music, or art track.
