School of Business to Offer Certification Program
West Virginia Wesleyan College’s Thomas Albinson II School of Business will offer new graduate-level certificates in Human Resource Management, Nonprofit Management, and Labour & Law.
The courses will provide continued education or professional development to individuals who may not wish to pursue a full MBA program. Each certificate will require the completion of four, three-credit MBA-level courses and the courses completed will count toward the Wesleyan MBA degree.
These offerings are the most recent additions to the MBA program. Earlier in the year, a generous donation from Tony ’80 and Lorna Lindeman provided funding for the development of a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification program. This program will enable participants to demonstrate competence in leading and managing projects in a variety of fields and is required, in some cases, for organizations to compete and obtain funding on government contracts.
Wesleyan’s Thomas Albinson II School of Business offers majors in accounting, business administration, economics, management, marketing, sport business and the MBA. For more information about Wesleyan’s School of Business and the new graduate certificates, contact Dr. Susan Aloi, director of the School of Business, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 304-473-8580.
