Wesleyan to Hold First Course Registration Day
West Virginia Wesleyan College will welcome over 200 deposited students to campus on Saturday, April 25 for the first course registration day of the year. This event allows students who have committed to Wesleyan for fall 2015 to join the Office of Admissions and other campus personnel to schedule courses for the fall semester.
During the day, students will also have the opportunity to speak with a faculty member from their intended major, participate in a question-and-answer session with the Offices of Financial Aid and Students Accounts, explore student organizations, and eat lunch in French A. See Dining Center.
The day begins with check-in at 8:15 a.m. on the third floor of the Benedum Campus Center. From there, students and their families will participate in the aforementioned activities before capping the experience off with an optional campus and residence hall tour.
“Course Registration Day provides students the first and best chance to build a perfect first semester schedule,” stated John Waltz, director of admissions and enrollment management. “Faculty members from every school and major are paired with the respective students and will provide the kind of guidance and direction that is unique to the Wesleyan experience. From selecting first-year seminar courses to checking out every residence hall to taking a first student ID photo--we make sure that every question is answered.”
To register, please visit www.wvwc.edu and complete the registration form or call the Office of Admissions at 800-722-9933. An Intent to Enroll and deposit must be submitted to the Office of Admissions by April 21 to attend.
