Brass Choir and Quintet to Present Spring Concert
The West Virginia Wesleyan College Brass Choir and Brass Quintet have slated their spring concert for Monday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Culpepper Auditorium of the Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts.
The Brass Choir, conducted by Mr. Logan Lindsey, and the Brass Quintet, conducted by Dr. James Moore, will be playing pieces by Gabrieli, Elgar, and Holst, as well as themes from the motion picture Pirates of the Caribbean, and more.
“This is the first yearly concert to showcase the talent inside the growing brass department at Wesleyan,” stated Lindsey. “We invite everyone to come and enjoy an evening of varying styles of brass music.”
The concert is free and open to the public.
