West Virginia Wesleyan College invites applications for a tenure-track mathematics faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. A Ph.D. in mathematics is required. ABD applicants must complete a Ph.D. before the beginning date of the position, August 2015. This position is open to candidates in any area of pure or applied mathematics.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching, experience implementing technology into the classroom, a commitment to continued scholarly growth, and a passion for undergraduate research. The successful candidates will teach a wide range of undergraduate mathematics classes, ranging from developmental algebra to advanced mathematics courses. The teaching load is 24 semester credit hours per year.
