Dr. Susan Aloi:  Dr. Aloi is the Director of the School of Business and has served as a faculty member at Wesleyan since May 2007. Dr. Aloi holds a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from West Virginia University and an MBA and BS in Management and Economics from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Her research interests include strategic planning, assessment, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Dr. Aloi has lectured in the undergraduate and MBA programs since 1999 and has taught a variety of marketing, management, and special topic courses.  Dr. Aloi is a Planning Institute faculty member for the Society for College & University Planning and a Teagle Assessment Scholar with the Center of Inquiry in the Liberal Arts.


Mr. Nick Conger:   Mr. Conger is pursuing an International Doctorate in Business Administration with the Swiss Management Center in Zug, Switzerland. His doctoral research involves the study of culture and strategy of transnational banking organizations that survived the 2008 global financial crisis.  Mr. Conger holds an MBA from The American University and an undergraduate degree in marketing from West Virginia University. In addition, he served more than 30 years in federal financial agencies. Mr. Conger arrived at Wesleyan in Autumn 2010, and teaches courses in marketing, finance, and international business.


Dr. Tracie Dodson:  Dr. Dodson holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Master of Science in Industrial Relations from West Virginia University. Her undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering is from Wheeling Jesuit University. Dr. Dodson’s research interests include business systems analysis, project management, program evaluation, and assessment. Dr. Dodson has taught at Wesleyan since Autumn 2008, teaches courses in management, organizational behavior, leadership, and information management systems, and is the faculty advisor for SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise).


Mr. Mike Ervin:  Professor Ervin received a Master of Accounting from the University of Denver, a Master of Taxation from the University of Hartford, and a B.S. from West Virginia University; he holds licensure as a CPA and a CTA.  Mr. Ervin has taught at Wesleyan since January 1993, and was named the college’s Teacher of the Year in 2002.  Mr. Ervin teaches courses in accounting, finance, and taxation.


Mr. Russ Francis:  Mr. Francis received his BS and MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and holds CPA licenses in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Professor Francis has taught accounting and finance courses at Wesleyan since Autumn 2001, and also owns and operates a private tax accounting business.


Mr. Patrick Holguin: Mr. Holguin holds a BS in International Business from Quinnipiac University and a Master's in Education from Marietta College. He is the head women's soccer coach at Wesleyan and the Olympic soccer coach for the State of West Virginia. Prior to becoming a soccer coach, Mr. Holguin held marketing and project management positions with international corporations. Mr. Holguin teaches the Principles of Sport Management and Sport Business Internship courses in Wesleyan's Sport Business program.


Ms. Kelly Hughes:  Ms. Hughes received her BS and MBA from West Virginia Wesleyan College and is completing her doctorate in Economics at West Virginia University.  Professor Hughes has been teaching at Wesleyan since Autumn 2006, and covers courses in economics, statistics, and quantitative methods.  Her research interests include sport and public economics.


Mr. Zack Klingensmith:  Mr. Klingensmith is a visiting instructor in Economics. He is completing his doctorate in Economics at West Virginia University and holds a BA in Mathematics from Washington and Jefferson College.


Mr. David McCauley: Mr. McCauley received his BA in Political Science and History as well as his JD degree from West Virginia University. He has taught business law courses at Wesleyan since Autumn 1983, serves as the college’s internal legal counsel and as legal counsel for the City of Buckhannon.  In addition to teaching courses in the School of Business, Mr. McCauley also teaches constitutional law for the Political Science program.


Dr. Hamid Shaafi:  Dr. Shaafi received a Ph.D. from Syracuse University, an MPA from the University of Tehran, and completed post-doctoral work at the University of South Florida. He holds CMA and CFM licensure and is a member of the Financial Association International and the Institute of Management Accountants.  Dr. Shaafi has taught accounting and finance courses at Wesleyan since Autumn 1990.
