Tuition, Fees and Payment Procedures

Graduate tuition is billed per credit. The tuition charge (summer 2011 & academic year 2011-12) for Master level classes is $425 per semester credit hour. The application fee is $50. The graduation fee is $125. The audit fee is $400 per 3 credit hour. Online courses are charged a $195 course technology fee per course.

Accepted students are required to submit a $200 enrollment deposit, if domestic, and $500 if international, upon receipt of acceptance to secure the student’s place in the program and classes. The deposit will be applied to the student’s first semester tuition and fees.

Graduate students who are pre-registered will be billed in advance of each semester by the Student Accounts Office. Account balances must be paid in full before each enrollment period. American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted.

Any financial obligations incurred during the semester must be paid before the semester concludes. No academic credentials will be issued to the student until all colleges bills are paid and all Financial Aid documentation has been completed. For students approved for withdrawing from the college, see the refund regulations and schedule from the Student Accounts Office as follows:
Funds in excess of institutional costs are refunded to the student after the schedule change period and must be requested in writing. Refunds are subject to the following regulations:

  1. For a student withdrawing from the College because of illness, or for other reasons approved by the Dean of Graduate Studies, the following refund schedule will be used:

    Fall and Spring Semesters
    Before 3rd week............................ 80% of tuition refunded
    Before 5th week............................ 60% of tuition refunded
    Before 7th week............................ 40% of tuition refunded
    After 7th week.............................. No Refund

    May Term & Summer Term
    Within 2 class days ........................ 100% of tuition refunded
    After 2nd class day......................... No Refund

  2. Students making schedule changes after the first five days of a semester or the first two days of a summer term will receive refunds of the difference in tuition charges according to the schedule listed above for withdrawal from the College.

  3. A student withdrawing from the College during a semester or summer term for any reason other than those stated in (1) above will receive no refund of tuition charges.
