CHAPLAIN AND DIRECTOR OF RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUAL LIFE
Christopher Scott, MDiv.
I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and graduated Shepherd University in 2007. Throughout my college experiences, I was highly active in developing programs and events through Student Affairs and Multicultural Student Services. After college, I lived in Washington, DC and St. Louis, MO where I worked in housing and urban ministry through Americorps. In seminary, I facilitated workshops and Bible Studies in areas related to poverty, racial diversity, and caring for Creation. I returned to West Virginia to marry my wife, Kendra Sullivan. Prior to arriving at Wesleyan, I served small-town churches in Southern Pocahontas County and Western Greenbrier County. One of my passions is helping others develop their gifts for leadership and service, and walking alongside them in their own spiritual formation. My hobbies include bicycling, hiking, walking my dogs Patch and Churro, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
